Under natten gick Grammy Awards av stapeln i Los Angeles och på förhand var Kendrick Lamar storfavorit med hela elva (!) nomineringar. Kvällen blev knappast en besvikelse för Compton-rapparen som prisades i sju kategorier för musik från “To Pimp A Butterfly” där även svenske producenten Tommy Black (Fredrik Halldin) från Vänersborg varit involverad.

Även Mark Ronson och Bruno Mars prisades dubbelt för “Uptown Funk”, The Weeknd för “Earned It” samt D’Angelo vann två välförtjänta Grammys för comeback-skivan “Black Messiah”.
