Ludwig Göransson vann Grammy för "Bästa filmmusik".

Natten mot måndag hölls årets Grammy Awards, som många sett fram emot med höga förhoppningar. Inte minst SZA, som inför galan ledde nomineringarna med totalt nio stycken för hennes efterlängtade album “SOS”. Inför den tv-sända galan hade sångerskan redan plockat hem två, bland annat med en vinst i kategorin Best Pop/Duo Group Performance för samarbetet “Ghost In The Machine” med Phoebe Bridges.

Men det skulle “bara” bli två till. SZA vann kategorin Best Progressive R&B Album och Best R&B Song för “Snooze” – en låt som hon också framförde live på galan.

Vad gäller rap så tog Killer Mike välförtjänt hem hela tre priser, däribland för Best Rap Album med “MICHAEL”. Albumspåret “SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS” belönades dessutom med priser för Best Rap Performance och Best Rap Song. I sitt tacktal sa han triumferande:

“Atlanta, it’s a sweep. You cannot tell me that you get too old, you can’t tell me it’s too late, you can’t tell me dreams [don’t] come true. It is a sweep.”

Det skulle dock bli ett olyckligt slut på kvällen för Mike, då flera stora medier rapporterar att rapparen greps av polis under galan. Enligt New York Times ska det handla om ett bråk på Crypto.com Arena, där galan ägde rum. Han ska ha släppts senare under kvällen men väntas återfinna sig i rätten den 29 februari i Los Angeles. Klippet nedan postades av en journalist för The Hollywood Reporter.

I övrigt tog svenska Ludwig Göransson hem en Grammy för filmmusiken till “Oppenheimer”.
