Hiphopscenen i Chicago sörjer nu ännu en ung man då Pivot Gang-producenten och dj:n Squeak (squeakPIVOT) har gått bort. Han blev endast 26 år gammal.

Squeak found his voice as a DJ and producer, becoming known as a Chicago staple and touring the country with his sound as a DJ and member of Pivot Gang. Being on this journey together while witnessing his growth as an artist and brother is something we're extremely proud of.

Som en del av inhouse-teamet för Pivot Gang var Squeak en stor av rapparen Sabas sound, och Pivot Gang-kollektivet i stort, tillsammans med Daoud och daedae. Hans senaste album “En Route” gjordes tillsammans med MFnMelo. Många kollegor både inom och utanför kollektivet har under det senaste dygnet skickat sina kondoleanser, däribland Deante’ Hitchcock, Sylvan Lacue, Thelonius Martin, Nico Segal, SoloSam och Knox Fortune.

Det är ännu oklart varför och hur Squeak dog.
