Snoop Doggs hyllning till 50 Cent: “The shit he did just changed the whole game…”

50 Cent tackar för lovorden av västkustlegendaren.

I höstas kom nyheten att 50 Cent och Snoop Dogg samarbetar för ett kommande TV-serieprojekt. Det handlar om historien bakom Snoop Doggs mordrättegång från 1994 som ska filmatiseras. Dessförinnan har de båda rapparna samarbetat vid otaliga tillfällen, inte sällan med den legendariske mentorn Dr. Dre bakom spakarna.

I en intervju från i november hyllade Snoop sin rapkollega Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson och sade:

“50 is going to be a legend in rap forever. His records, his music, his movie. The shit he did just changed the whole game of New York and just run New York for a minute. And put that New York spirit back in the game. I’m a student of the game and I’m trying to learn from him. It’s true, you can teach old dogs new tricks. That’s if he’s willing to listen.”

50 Cent tycktes ha missat intervjun då och postade igår ett inlägg där han tackade och bockade för de fina orden på Instagram:

“@snoopdogg that shit you just said means more than a [trophy emoji] award to me.”
