Se A$AP Rocky framföra “LIVE.LOVE.A$AP” i samband med 10-årsjubileum

I slutet av oktober kom A$AP Rockys debutmixtape “LIVE.LOVE.A$AP” till streamingtjänster, två dagar innan det firade sitt 10-årsjubileum. Under helgen firade rapparen jubileumet ordentligt, då han framförde skivan i sin helhet på ComplexCon.

“If you grew up on this shit, we’re about to have a motherfucking good time. We’re going down memory lane. Let’s go through this album”, började han med att säga innan låtar som “Palace”, “Peso”, “Bass”, “Wassup”, “Brand New Guy” och “Purple Swag”. Därefter gästades han av medlemmar ur A$AP Mob och mindes tillbaka till gamla tider med A$AP Ferg.

“I wanted to be a fashion designer, and you were like, ‘Yo, bro, we should do this rapping shit’. And you told my mom, ‘Yo, I promise I’m going to make your son a millionaire and all that shit.’ And she looked at you crazy”, se Ferg till Rocky efter att de framfört “Kissin’ Pink”.

“She kicked me out the house. She said, ‘Who is this weird-ass n***a with a perm in his hair’”, svarade Rocky innan Ferg fortsatte med att säga: “This n***a stayed true and we fucking built an empire. I appreciate you and I just want to say I love and admire you.”

Vid sidan av scenen återfanns också flickvännen Rihanna, som såg ut att uppskatta sin pojkväns spelning. Paret har som bekant dejtat under merparten av 2021.

Innan näst sista låten passade Rocky också på att uttrycka sin sorg över det som hände under fredagens Astroworld Festival av Travis Scott.

“My prayers go out to everybody who lost their lives in Texas the other day, going to Astroworld Fest. My heart goes out to that guy, and everybody who lost their lives. Condolences. I hope everybody gets home safe tonight.”
