Den årliga galan NAACP Image Awards gick under lördagen av stapeln för den 52:a gången i historien. Bland de stora vinnarna återfinns Beyoncé, som inte helt överraskande dominerade prisceremonin. Sångerskan vann flest statyetter med fyra.

Under galan tilldelades även Eddie Murphy en Hall of Fame-utmärkelse för sin enastående karriär som komiker och skådespelare. Drake vann för första gången kategorin bästa manliga artist, medan Jhené Aiko vann bästa album med “Chilombo”.

Bland serier, film och underhållning prisades bland andra “Da 5 Bloods”, “Bad Boys For Life”, VERZUZ och “Power Book II: Ghoost” – där både Mary J. Blige och Method Man uppmärksammades för sina biroller.
