Samtidigt som Lil Wayne hintar om "Tha Carter VI".
50 Cent har som bekant en historia av att vara frispråkig och ibland vårdslös, vilket vi under helgen fick en påminnelse om när han gästade Lil Waynes “Young Money Radio”. Under den långa pratstunden lyckades han bland annat ge hans gamla nemesis Rick Ross en känga, men också håna Meek Mill och Jay-Zs Roc Nation.
“I stay away from silly shit because if you say to me … I’m not gonna say who I’m talking about, right? If you represent prison reform, how did you sign to a correctional officer and you managed by a snitch?”, frågar han retoriskt och refererar till Meek Mills band till Rick Ross och Roc Nation.
“Tjallaren” i fråga är Rosie Perez, som Tekashi 6ix9ine på exakt samma sätt använde för att ifrågasätta Meek Mill. Desiree Perez, som är Roc Nations nuvarande VD, har en historia som DEA-informatör efter att själv ha gripits med 35 kilo kokain 1994. Enligt New York Daily News, i en artikel som 6ix9ine just refererade till, påstås det att hon hjälpte DEA avslöja flera knarkaffärer i Puerto Rico och Colombia genom att bära en dold mikrofon.
I intervjun tittar han också tillbaka på albumet “The Massacre” och hans samarbete med Dr. Dre och The Game, under tiden den senare blev en stjärna.
“People fought love for the things they see are significant. Jimmy Iovine was a producer … he loves the significance of production. He loves Dre. I don’t give a fuck what I made … look, I made my whole second album as a 10-record. I knew they wasn’t my best verses but my choruses were right so I focused on my song structure. I went to see Jimmy and he played me Game’s record. Game was in the studio with Dre for over a year at that point. He said, ‘What you think about it?’ I said, ‘He can rap, he’s not a great songwriter yet’”, berättar han bland annat.
