Se trailer för dokumentärserien ”RapCaviar Presents” med Tyler, the Creator och Pharell Williams

I en ny video öppnar Tyler, the Creator och Pharell Williams upp om sin vänskap och musikaliska resa. I videon berättar Tyler att Pharell har varit som en fadersfigur för honom. Han berättar också att det är tack vare Pharells uppmuntran och visdomsord som han hittade sin musikaliska stil.

Videon är urklippt från den kommande hiphop-dokumentären ”RapCaviar Presents” som kommer att sändas på Hulu. Dokumentären släpps i sju delar och är inspirerad av Spotifys kända spellista ”RapCaviar” från 2015. Artister medverkande i serien är City Girls, Jack Harlow, Megan Thee Stallion och Roddy Ricch med flera. I ett pressmeddelande beskriver Carl Chery, chef för Urban Music på Spotify, dokumentärserien:

“A compelling new documentary series that tackles some of today’s most provocative issues through the stories of hip-hop visionaries and emerging stars currently ruling the charts and influencing our culture, from City Girls to Tyler, The Creator, Jack Harlow, Polo G, Roddy Ricch, Coi Leray and more. Based on the influential Spotify playlist, launched in 2015, this seven-part series is a deep dive into current events that untangles important subjects and offers a view of the world from an artist’s perspective.”

Han fortsätter:

“Spotify continues to find ways to innovate and grow the influence of our playlist brands. We’re excited to expand the RapCaviar universe through this docuseries with our partners at Hulu. Using hip-hop as a vehicle to examine society, we’re revealing stories through the lens of visionaries like Tyler, The Creator, and the City Girls. Through RapCaviar Presents, we’re hoping to entertain and educate hip-hop fans and spark meaningful conversations about music and culture”.

Alla sju avsnitt av ”RapCaviar Presents” släpps den 30 mars 2023 på Hulu. Ännu är det inte bekräftat om serien kommer att visas i Sverige.
