Noisey bjuder på en Youtube-stream av kommande skivan med gäster som T.I, Busta Rhymes, Akon, Mavado med flera.

Hiphop-stjärnan Snoop Dogg släpper reggae och dancehall-inspirerat album under namnet Snoop Lion. ”Reincarnated”, som är inspelat på Jamaica, släpps fysiskt den 24:e april. Albumet är producerat av Diplo och Major Lazer. Albumreleasen är ett samarbete mellan Berhane Sound System, Mad Decent, VICE Music och RCA Records.

På ”Reincarnated” har Snoop Lion valt att samarbeta med flertalet Grammy-vinnande artister så som Drake och Chris Brown. Han har även samarbetat med T.I, Busta Rhymes, Akon, det brittiska stjärnskottet Rita Ora, dancehallstjärnorna Popcaan och Mavado med flera.

“We were searching for true reggae music and the message of peace and hope it reflects. It’s so much a part of who I am, and this record is all about paying homage and giving respect to those who created and love reggae music, and hopefully introducing it to a whole new audience. I feel truly honored to make this album and respect to all who blazed the path for me.”
