Logic ser ut att utnyttja sin nyfunna extratid som indieartist till att spendera mer av densamma med familjen. Av allt att döma siktar han redan på att utveckla det musikaliska arvsanlaget hos sin tvååriga son Bobby, som han har tillsammans med sin fru Brittney Noell.
I ett klipp på Instagram kan rapparen ses lämna över ett digitalt trum-kit till sin son som börjar pröva sig fram.
“Teaching my boy to make beats =)”, skriver han i caption.
En kollega som sett videon är Three Six Mafias Juicy J, som blivit imponerad av vad han sett. I kommentarsfältet uttrycker han sitt intresse för att köpa ett beat av “lil Bobby”.
“Mane that’s dope tell lil Bobby I need a beat for my new album.”

Den hjärtevärmande videon kommer efter att Logic nyligen avslutat sin Vinyl Verse Tour med Wiz Khalifa, uppbyggt på rapparens senaste albumutgåva titulerad just “Vinyl Days”. Skivan, där vi också fick se han son på omslaget, markerade hans sista album med Def Jam till förmån för en deal med BMG där han tillåts äga sina masters.
“There’s a lot of bullshit in the music industry. I’m just glad to move on to a place where I can be independent and respected as an artist, and feel like I’m in control of my career”, sa han i samband med beskedet.
I juli agerade han även gäst hos Logan Paul i podcasten “Impaulsive”, där han utvecklade:
“I made that album in 12 days so I could get off Def Jam. That’s my favorite part – I’m off Def Jam. I made that album so I could leave, and guess what? I left them with some of the dopest shit I could give them. It’s not like I just wiped my ass. What am I excited about? I’m excited to be independent, I’m excited to do my thing.”
“I’m really happy to know that I represented and low-key was the face of the label — one of the illest Hip Hop labels of all time — and that I sold millions and millions of records and gave them billions and billions of streams, and that it was a good partnership. And I couldn’t be happier to get the fuck out.”
