Drake verkar ha gjort det till sitt uppdrag att hjälpa fans i nöd under sin pågående “It’s All A Blur – Big As The What?”-turné. I fredags utlovade han återigen en stor summa pengar till en besökare som överlevt cancer.
Det var halvvägs genom showen som Drake fick syn på en skylt med texten “Your music carried me through cancer”, varpå han utlovade att ge personen 50 000 dollar.
“You go somewhere. You can go see another Drake show if you want. And I appreciate that. I appreciate the sentiment. It’s love”, ska han ha sagt enligt Complex.
Men detta är som sagt inte första gången Drake ger stora pengasummor till behövande fans. Tidigare i veckan gav han 100 000 dollar till ett fan som höll upp en skylt där det stod “Just Finished Chemo.” Detta fick Drake att pausa konserten och säga:
“Listen, forget Drake, forget anybody else in this building right now. That’s a true soldier right there. I hope my manager doesn’t kill me ’cause I’ve never really done this much, but listen, I want you to cash this in at the end of the night. We’re gonna give you $100,000. I love you and I wish you the best.”
