Den New York-baserade rapparen, producenten och musikern Amir “Oddisee” Mohamed är tilbaka med ett nytt albumprojekt i slutet av februari. Den nya skivan släpps 24:e februari via Mello Music Grooup och är betitlad “The Iceberg”. Plattan består av tolv spår som enligt en pressrelease handlar om:

“…money, sex, politics, race and religion that appear superficial until his multi-dimensional lyrics unfurl to expose the complexities of individuality and identity: how we see ourselves and how others see us.”

Nu bjuder Oddisee på albumspåret “Like Really” som textmässigt bland annat tar upp Trumps presidenttillträde nyligen:

“tell me if I got it all wrong/
like I signed on the line but I didn’t read the form/
and the fine print is all about the times we mourn/
and the color of my skin means I gotta be strong/
& your hand me down faith said if I was reborn/
when I take my last breath that you’ll let me breath on/ as of right now we could never pals/
