Om tre veckor har den nya Transformers-filmen “Rise Of The Beasts” premiär på biografer världen över. Nu släpps ledmotivet till filmen, där Nas samarbetar med Tobe Nwigwe och Jacob Banks för låten “On My Soul”. Regissören Steven Caple Jr. säger i ett pressmeddelande:

“We wanted a track that could introduce a new sound to the franchise that embraces the 90s and maintains the timelessness of the era. By combining the lyrical genius of one of the most influential artists of our time, Nas, with Tobe Nwigwe’s energetic style and cadence, we excitedly release Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ hit song, ‘On My Soul.’”

Filmen i fråga beskrivs som följer:

“…will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformers – the Maximals – to join them as allies in the existing battle for earth.”

I huvudrollerna återfinns Anthony Ramos och Dominique Fishback. Nwigwe medverkar också i filmen som karaktären “Reek” med andra röstskådespelare som Peter Cullen (“Optimus Prime”), Ron Perlman (“Optimus Primal”), Peter Dinklage (“Scourge”), Michelle Yeoh (“Airazor”), Liza Koshy (“Arcee”) och Pete Davidson (“Mirage”).

Filmen får premiär 9 juni 2023 på Filmstadens biografer.

Nas kommer till Stockholm för en spelning med Wu-Tang Clan på “N.Y. State Of Mind Tour” om två veckor, fredagen den 2 juni 2023 på Avicii Arena. Biljetter här!
