Det har varit en minst sagt fartfylld helg, åtminstone vad gäller beefen mellan Drake och Kendrick Lamar. Det senaste är att Drake under natten släppte “The Heart Part 6”, där han adresserar en rad högst kontroversiella påståenden.
Låten kommer ett dygn efter att Kendrick släppt DJ Mustard-producerade “Not Like Us”, som i sin tur markerade Compton-rapparens tredje diss sedan i fredags. På “6:16 In LA” och framförallt “Meet The Grahams” har en rad påståenden lagts på bordet, däribland att Drake har en golare i sitt camp och att han är både pedofil och har en gömd 11-årig dotter.
Allt detta adresserar Drake på det senaste släppet. Han menar bland annat att han planterat information om den påstådda dottern, vilket om det stämmer skulle vara enormt genant för Kendrick. Drake rappar:
“You waited for this momеnt, overcome with the desperation
We plotted for a week and then we fed you the information
A daughter that’s 11 years old, I bet he takes it
We thought about giving a fake name or a destination
But you so thirsty, you not concerned with investigation”
Han påstår också (återigen) att pgLang-kollegan Dave Free ska vara pappa till ett av Kendricks barn, vilket förstås är ett ytterst vågat uttalande. På tidigare släppta “Family Matters” påstår Drake också att Kendrick slagit sin fästmö Whitney Alford och att det var månader sedan han träffade sina barn.
Här ställer han sig frågan varför Whitney inte gått ut och förnekat påståendet samt varför hon följer Dave Free på Instagram men inte Kendrick. Nivån är med andra ord hisnande, vid det här laget.
“And why isn’t Whitney denying all of the allegations?
Why is she following Dave Free and not Mr. Morale?
You haven’t seen the kids in six months, the distance is wild
Dave leaving heart emojis underneath pics of the child”
Drizzy förnekar senare pedofil-anklagelserna som Kendrick fört fram.
“I never been with no one under age but now
I understand why this the angle that you really mess with
Just for clarity, I feel disgusted I’m too respected
If I was fucking young girls, I promise I’d been done arrested
I’m way too famous for this shit you just suggested, but that’s not the lesson, clearly there’s a deeper message”
Han tar det också ett steg längre genom att insinuera att anledningen till att Kendrick är “besatt” över pedofil-vinkeln är att han själv blev utsatt för övergrepp som liten, vilket han själv förnekat men ändå tagit upp till ytan på “Mr. Morale”-spåret “Mother I Sober”, där han rappar:
“Family ties, they accused my cousin, ‘Did he touch you, Kendrick?’
Never lied, but no one believed me when I said ‘He didn’t'”
På “The Heart Part 6” rappar Drake i sin tur:
“My mom came over today and I was like ‘Mother, I-, mother I-, mother I-‘
Wait a second, that’s that one record where you say you got molested
Aw, fuck me, I just made the whole connection
This about to get so depressing
This is trauma from your own confessions
This when your father leave you home alone with no protection so neglected That’s why these pedophile raps is shit you so obsessed with, it’s so excessive”
