Häromdagen var det premiär för Kevin Hart och Chris Rock nya standupspecial från turnén “Headliners”, på Netflix. Nu står det klart att duon även medverkar på Netflix årliga standup-festival i Los Angeles till våren.
Bland de inbokade till Netflix Is A Joke Fest 2024 finns om Katt Williams, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Trevor Noah, Mike Epps, David Letterman, Wanda Sykes, Marlon Wayans, Luenell, Roy Wood Jr. och fler. Robbie Praw, Netflix VP of Stand-up and Comedy Formats, säger i ett pressmeddelande:
“This is a special time for comedy, both for Netflix and the genre at large. We have the privilege of working with comedians who are selling out arenas, winning awards, and building fandoms in the millions. In the 10 years that we’ve been doing stand-up, we’ve seen the art form reach levels we didn’t think possible. This festival aims to capture this moment by bringing together the world’s best comedians for an unforgettable 11 days.”
Under festivalen kommer även Katt Williams-showen på “The Dark Matter Tour” spelas in för premiär på Netflix senare under nästa år.
