Nu får vi trailern för den femte och sista säsongen av HBO’s omtyckta serie “Insecure”. En minst sagt bitterljuv händelse för huvudrollsinnehavaren, exekutiva producenten och medskaparen Issa Rae.
“Can’t believe this is the last #InsecureHBO trailer I’ll ever share”, skriver hon i ett inlägg tillsammans med trailern.
Den femte säsongen kommer att få premiär i USA via HBO och HBO Max med start den 24 oktober och förmodligen runt ungefär samma datum i Sverige. Handlingen beskrivs med orden:
“The final season continues to follow our favorite characters as they evaluate their relationships, both new and old, in an effort to figure out who and what comes with them in this next phase of their lives.”
Tidigare i år reflekterade Rae över seriens framgång och berättade för Deadline att man alltid satsat på att dela upp storyn i fem säsonger.
[Insecure co-producer Prentice Penny] and I are so grateful that HBO believed in our show from the beginning and kept faith in us to see our vision through the end. We always planned to tell this story through five seasons, but we couldn’t have made it this far without the tremendous support of our audience. I feel blessed beyond measure to bring our characters’ stories to an end, on-screen at least.”
