När Showtime-serien “The Chi” fick premiär 2018 syntes bland annat Common i den hyllade och kritikerrosade berättelsen om dramatiska händelser på “The Southside” i Chicago. Nu är serien, skapad av Emmybelönade Lena Waithe, snart inne på sin fjärde säsong med stundande premiär i maj månad. I rollerna syns Jacob Latimore, Alex Hibbert, Yolonda Ross, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps och Birgundi Baker. Handlingen i kommande avsnitt beskrivs som följer:

“Jake, Papa and Kevin confront the harsh reality of how the world views young, Black men in the aftermath of an act of police brutality. As the three friends reckon with a broken system, the aftershocks ripple across the South Side, inspiring friends and neighbors to rise up and take action. “The Chi” säsong 4 har premiär 24 maj 2021 på HBO Nordic.
