Netflix släpper trailer för serien “3 Body Problem” – gjord av “Game of Thrones”-skapare

Netflix har släppt en första trailer för kommande mordmysterieserien “3 Body Problem”. Bakom serien återfinns “Game of Thrones”-skaparna David Benioff och D.B. Weiss som tillsammans med Alexander Woo utvecklat serien baserad på 2008 års roman “The Three-Body Problem” av Liu Cixin.

I en beskrivning av Netflix går det att läsa följande om handlingen:

“A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time into the present day. When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel before their eyes, a close-knit group of brilliant scientists join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.”

I rollerna syns ett gäng relativt okända namn i form av Jovan Adepo, John Bradley, Rosalind Chao, Liam Cunningham, Eiza González, Jess Hong, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Sea Shimooka, Zine Tseng, Saamer Usmani, Benedict Wong och Jonathan Pryce.

Med så många olika karaktärer och skådespelare har Netflix-bloggen Tudum skapat en guide för karaktärerna som tittare kan använda under seriens gång. Ett grepp som Netflix själva kommenterar med orden:

“What we are hoping to do is to convey the experience — if not necessarily the exact details — of the novel onto the screen. What stayed, we hope, is the sense of wonderment and the sense of scope, of scale, where the problems are no longer just the problems of an individual or even a nation, but of an entire species.”

“3 Body Problem” väntas få premiär via Netflix den 21 mars 2024 och trailern går att se nedan!
