J.Lindeberg introduces an exclusive collaboration with Kangol, merging streetwear heritage with high-performance sports fashion. The partnership brings together two iconic brands, redefining modern athletic wear with a bold, urban edge.
With a legacy dating back to the 1920s, Kangol is known for its signature headwear and deep ties to youth culture. Paired with J.Lindeberg’s active lifestyle approach, the result is a collection that pushes the boundaries of sports fashion – functional, expressive and built for movement.
A standout in the collaboration is the New York City Golf Kit, created for the urban golfer navigating city streets and the fairway. Key pieces include a multi-pocket, showerproof jacket with zip-off sleeves, packable bucket hats and travel caps with zip-pockets, and a golf club harness. Lanyard pouches and golf tees add on-the-go functionality, while silver- accented golf bags bring a modern, reflective touch to the color palette.
The collection’s bold graphic language includes co-branded prints and Kangol’s iconic kangaroo logo, now holding a golf club as a playful nod to the sport. Hoodies, graphic tees and co-branded football jerseys highlight the fusion of fashion, youth culture and modern sportswear.
“In this collaboration, we wanted to create something that speaks to a new generation of athletes and style-conscious individuals,” says Neil Lewty, Chief Creative Officer at J.Lindeberg. “By combining our performance-driven DNA with Kangol’s streetwear legacy, we’re pushing the boundaries of what sports fashion can be: modern, expressive and designed for movement in every environment.”
The collaboration is brought to life through the Fast Lane campaign, set against the raw energy of New York City. Featuring NYC skater Marcello Campanello, model and cultural curator Spoety, and professional golfer and advocate for diversity Mia Baker, the campaign captures the collection’s energy and adaptability in a world where greens and concrete collide.
“When considering J.Lindeberg and Kangol as collaborators, what jumps out instantly is the disruption these brands create in their space; the punk spirit, driven by the consumer who wears it,” says Paula Calvert, Global Creative Director, Kangol. “This collaboration was a natural and obvious fit. The brands share the same ethos of boldness, wild patterns, bright pops of color, and the feeling the consumer embodies when stepping out from the norm wearing Kangol or J.Lindeberg. What has been a fulfilling journey of two years developing this collaboration for both golf and on the street, the optimistic rebel stands out as a grand force..”
The J.Lindeberg x Kangol collection launches August 6 in select J.Lindeberg stores, online and through exclusive retail partners.
