Efter flera månader av spekulationer och rykten om Travis Scott nya album “UTOPIA” så har skivan slutligen släppts, natten mot fredag. Skivan består av hela 19 låtar och gästas av en lång rad välkända namn som Drake, Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Future, 21 Savage, SZA, Bad Bunny, Westside Gunn och Young Thug för att nämna några. I samband med releasen av albumet har Drakes gästinhopp tilldragit sig stor uppmärksamhet, då flera medier rapporterar att Toronto-stjärnan dissar Sverigeaktuella Pusha T och Pharrell Williams på låten “Meltdown”. De första raderna tycks handla om en diamantkedja som Pharrell auktionerade ut.

Senare i låten lägger Drake även rader som kan tolkas handla om Virgil Ablohs eftermäle och Pharrells Louis Vuitton-visning i Paris:
“You lucky that ‘Vogue’ was suing/ ‘Cause I would’ve been with the Wassas in Paris and shit.”
Tidigare i veckan meddelades att Travis Scott “UTOPIA”-konsert vid egyptiska pyramiderna i Giza fick lov att ställas in. Live Nation skrev i ett uttalande:
“We regret to inform you that the UTOPIA show, originally scheduled for July 28th at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, is canceled. Unfortunately, despite our highest efforts, complex production issues meant that the show could not be constructed in the desert. We understand that this news is disappointing and not the outcome any of us desired…”.
