The Notorious B.I.G är en av hiphopkulturens största och mest legendariska ikoner, tillsammans med Tupac Shakur. Trots att Christopher “Biggie” Wallace avled i mars 1997 så lever hans musik och skapande vidare decennier efter hans bortgång. Det har spelats in både filmer och serier och otaliga dokumentärfilmer om hans liv.
I dag presenterar Netflix den nya dokumentären “Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell”, den kanske mest närgångna skildringen hittills, där vi får ta del av tidigare osläppt material från bakom kulisserna. Dokumentären är även gjord i samarbete med familjen Wallace, där flera utöver mamma Voletta Wallace medverkar. Även Sean “Diddy” Combs, Faith Evans, Lil’ Cease, Fab 5 Freddy, Damion “D Roc” Butler, Suif “C Gutta” Jackson, Easy Mo Bee, Mister Cee och Mark Pitts (Biggies manager) intervjuas i denna skapelse av Emmett Malloy.
