Drygt två månader efter att Jonah Hill bekräftats klar för en roll i en ännu obetitlad Netflix-komedi av Kenya Barris, står det nu klart att även Eddie Murphy ansluter till produktionen. Murphy och Barris har som bekant jobbat tillsammans på “Coming 2 America” som kom till Amazon Prime tidigare i år.
Enligt The Hollywood Reporter har Hill och Barris båda skrivit manuset till den kommande filmen och den produceras av deras respektive produktionsbolag Strong Baby och Khalabo Ink Society. Än så länge vet vi inte mycket om handlingen, men enligt Hollywood Reporter ska den vara en “incisive examination of modern love and family dynamics and how clashing cultures, societal expectations and generational differences shape and affect relationships. Murphy and Hill will find themselves on opposite sides of some of those divides”.
Filmen ska spelas in i Los Angeles under hösten.
