Efter att ha skrattat åt rader som “Get your ass up on the pole, let your worries go” och “If you ain’t talkin’ money, you need to talk to French”, bestämde sig den frispråkiga ex-rapparen att tala klarspråk och sa:

“Logic, you are easily one of the worst rappers to ever grace a microphone, I’m gonna be honest with you. I don’t know what they telling you at Def Jam. I know you sold a lot of records. I know you sell out a whole bunch of tours, and I know just how successful you are. I have to be honest, you are horrible, man.”

“I don’t like this verse, but he can rap”, insisterade Mal.

“Logic can rap. Logic clearly makes good music. The content, though, for me, is a bit confusing. I don’t know where to take him. It’s very bubblegum. It’s very cookie cutter. Are you Black Lives Matter? Are you all lives matter? Are you allowed to be both? … I don’t know.”
