"She’s currently recording two albums..."

Under sommaren har Barbados-sångerskan varit aktuell med filmen “Oceans 8” samt i en förmodad ny filmroll med Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) där inspelningar gjorts på Kuba. RiRi har senaste åren fortsatt att intensivt marknadsföra sina egna produkter för Puma, Fenty Beauty och Savage.

Nu verkar Rihanna mot hösten och vintern åter vara aktuell med ny musik samt en musikdokumentär som spelats in under en längre tidsperiod. Dokumentären förmodas handla om Rihannas karriär hittills och regisseras av Michael Berg, som även står för kommande Mark Wahlberg-filmen “Mile 22”. I en ny intervju säger Berg:

“I think she’s an extraordinary young woman and it really is kind of a pretty comprehensive profile of what goes in to making her this talent that she is. The work ethic, the talent, luck, the hustle, the vision. She’s a really, really interesting woman and the movie will be out in about a month and half, two months we’ll be able to start showing it.”

Rihanna uppgavs i våras även arbeta på att färdigställa sitt nionde albumprojekt i formen av ett dubbelalbum, enligt uppgifter i Vibe.

“She’s currently recording two albums – one full of chart-friendly songs, and another made up of moody and experimental tracks – and is considering releasing a double disc if she feels the songs won’t mesh well on the same album…”

Varken dokumentären eller albumprojektet är i dagsläget officiellt bekräftat till hösten/vintern 2018.
