Efter all turbulens och märkliga uttalanden den senaste tiden verkar det som att Kanye West åtminstone ska göra något bra med det kommande albumet “Yandhi”. I en intervju bekräftar han att Nicki Minaj gästar albumet, vilket i sig är glädjande, på en låt som ska adressera body shaming, det vill säga kroppshets. Till TMZ säger han:
“Nicki just rapped on a song where we’re talking about body shaming. This concept is a ‘Ye concept. I’m taking two stigmas at once, cause I love taking stigmas and flipping them to positive negative, a negative energy to a positive. One of the stigmas is that men, the more people we sleep with the higher our score goes. With a woman, the more people they sleep with, people consider that to be, the lower their score goes.”
Han pratar också om något som han personligen kan relatera till, nämligen plastikkirurgi. Kanye själv har gjort fettsugning och varken Kim Kardashian eller Nicki Minaj är obekanta för ingrepp. Han säger:
“People get body shamed after getting plastic surgery. You hear that on the internet all the time. Im’a say some wild shit, so brace yourself right now! The concept of the song is basically…”
Men mer än så får vi inte veta. Det vi dock vet är att “Yandhi” planeras släppas på Black Friday, det vill säga den 23:e november, och att förutom Minaj även Ty Dolla $ign, XXXTentacion, 6ix9ine och förmodligen flera andra kommer att gästa albumet.
