Studiolokalen ”The Dungeon” i Atlanta var platsen där Big Boi och Andre 3000 skapade sin musik som den hyllade duon Outkast. Där spelade de bland annat in debutalbumet ”Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik” och uppföljarna “ATLiens” och “Aquemini”. I en intervju med ”Rolling Stone” berättar han:
“When we first started, it wasn’t cool to be from Atlanta…Now Atlanta is the place to be with music, film, and television. To have people excited about the city and the culture and the lifestyle, I’m very proud of that. We’re the pioneers of it, and we’re still at the forefront of what’s happening… There’s no greater place in the world to be but A-Town.”
Big Boi, som är aktuell med ett framträdande under NFL-finalen “Super Bowl” om ett par veckor, kanske kan vara redo att skapa ny musik som Outkast under 2019…?
