Den New York-baserade rapparen, producenten och musikern Amir “Oddisee” Mohamed är tilbaka med ett nytt albumprojekt i början av 2017. Den nya skivan släpps 24:e februari via Mello Music Grooup och är betitlad “The Iceberg”. Plattan består av tolv spår som enligt en pressrelease handlar om:

“…money, sex, politics, race and religion that appear superficial until his multi-dimensional lyrics unfurl to expose the complexities of individuality and identity: how we see ourselves and how others see us.”

Samtidigt passar Oddisee på att släppa en ny låt – han kommenterar singeln “Things” och dess tema:

“”We all go through the trials & tribulations of life. Why is it we feel the need to individualize our shared experiences? If only we could see our concerns as others do, maybe they wouldn’t be so serious.”

 

Oddisee åker även ut på världsturné men den dessvärre finns i dagsläget inga datum i Sverige inbokade.
