New York-damen släpper idag ny skiva som gästas av Kendrick Lamar, Action Bronson, Outasight och The Kid Daytona.

En av USA:s mest spännande kvinnliga mc:s är New York-baserade Nitty Scott som förra hösten släppte “Doobies & Popsicle Sticks”. Plattan fick god respons av kritiker och lyssnare och tidigare under året har hon även  hunnit med att medverka i BET´s Rap Cypher och jämfördes därefter med  Nicki Minaj – eftersom Young Moneys första dam fick lite av sitt  genombrott efter medverkan i cyphern.

Under våren och sommaren har Nitty Scott turnerat runt om i världen med flera turnéstopp i Europa, samt slutfört arbetet med nya EP:n “Boombox Diaries Vol.1” där Kendrick Lamar, Action Bronson, Outasight och The Kid Daytona gästar.

När skivan inatt släpptes skrev hon följande meddelande till lyssnare och fans:

i just want to take this time to thank every supporter from the bottom of my heart. i’ve dreamed of giving you this EP for 6 years, and it’s finally here. it’s easy to talk about what and who we don’t like, or what we think is wrong with the game. but when you hold me down, you shine light on what you LOVE instead. to be a Nitty Scott, MC fan is to send a statement. you are a free-thinking, refuse-to-be-spoon-fed individual, empowered to keep our culture alive. with that being said, any form of support is humbly appreciated tonight. thank you for giving me the opportunity to be heard. now let’s unleash this work of art, shall we? ♥
